Local tourist information and events during the time of the THS can be found on the Coleraine Borough Council website. Visitors may also wish to check out the Bushmills Distillery website for information on opening hours and guided tours. No stay in the area would be complete without a day at The Giant's Causeway which can be reached from Bushmills using the Causeway Tram. Local weather information for the Coleraine/Portrush area can be found at Metcheck. Getting to Portrush : For those travelling from the greater Belfast area the site is best reached by taking the M2 and A26 northwards past Antrim and Ballymena, and then taking the Ballybogey Road from Ballymoney, to join the A2 Bushmills Road at the White Rocks. Turn left, following the signs for Portrush, and drive past Royal Portrush Golf Club. At the first roundabout take the first exit onto the Crocknamack Road. The school is located on the right, before the next roundabout (see map below). Ferries : Members travelling from the GB mainland may wish to check ferry details via Carefree, or directly with the current ferry operators between GB and Ireland, Stena Line (Stranraer/Belfast), P&O (Cairnryan/Larne), Norfolk Line (Birkenhead/Belfast) and Irish Ferries (Holyhead/Dublin).
